Daddy dates

We often talk about doing individual "dates" with the kids. Brian made it happen, at least with the boys. He took the boys to breakfast last week. Braeden and he went to some new diner

and Braxton wanted to go for donuts. 

Braxton's date was short as he got to cold and asked to leave but he did say he had fun. While eating, Brian asked Braeden what his favorite part of the summer was so far his response: "Branson and this". 

For the past two days the boys have gone on some nice long bike rides. They ask to keep going further but Brian says he's fearful they will be to exhausted to make the return trip. They enjoy filling Alexis and I in with play by play announcements as we drive through the route they took. Like Braxton sharing that he wrecked into the pole because the corner was too sharp. Or that Braeden went to far ahead and didn't realize that Brian was making a turn---maybe some of the recap info would be better left untold to me! 

The guys are enjoying time together and I love that Brian has been documenting their adventures with photos.
