We had been talking about fireflies and how we hadn't seen any yet and a day or so later while on our trip to KC the kids caught a glimpse of the flashing little bugs. Braxton was out of the pool quick and had a jar in no time. Not far behind was Alexis wanting a jar too. They caught a boat load and thankfully were letting them free within the hour. I love how easily these creatures are to capture and examine. What a fun summer tradition.
There's also always some sort of schenanigans that goes on in the front room at grandma and grandpas: from wrestling, running, jumping, flipping, flying and more.
