Day 12: Pumpkin Carving
The pumpkin carving party we attended last year made quite the impression and Braxton especially kept asking if we would be going again or having one ourselves. We planned a last minute VERY low key pumpkin carving get together with Courtney and Monica (we had pumpkins and cookies). Big or small, the kids had fun none-the-less.
Alexis was determined to do her pumpkin on her own and definitely didn't want any help from Brian or I.
She did finally let Monica assist but did most of it on her own---she loves to create.
The boys chose and created their own masterpieces with little to no help from us.
Maybe next year we'll plan ahead and have a real pumpkin carving party.
