two-wheeling

I'm not sure what brought it on, but Alexis decided she was ready to ride like the big kids!
Her cheering and support squad was mighty....
She was determined and had no tears when she teetered or fell.
Most over correcting ended with her just stepping off.
She caught on to balancing quickly and eventually starting out too.
Day 1 of bike riding was AWESOME!
She cruised up and down the street over and over.
Day 2 of two-wheeling was NOT AWESOME!
Actually I should qualify: she rode very well but emotionally she was a NIGHTMARE!
It was a no nap day; Alexis without a nap is not a good combination!
Flying and crying... Brian had to run to keep up with the screaming fright cruising ahead.
She wasn't just whining it was the kind of screaming that stops people in their tracks and
brings on judgement from bystanders like:
can you believe those parents allow their child behave like that?
Oh yea, it was an UGLY hot mess!
While cruising she was demanding that her training wheels be reengaged!
I was yelling "Alexis, your dad is sprinting to keep up."
It didn't matter.
She ended up not riding very long on day 2 but was back at it again on day 3 and beyond.
